I used to think the Holy Spirit was this magical, intangible, ethereal vapor, not a person but a thing. But as I have studied the word of God more intensely these last several years, my thinking has changed. I now understand the Holy Spirit is not an “it” but a person. And oh, the understanding and truth that has welled up in me now that I know this!
